Virtual Cruise-In to Celebrate Collector Car Appreciation Day
The SEMA Action Network announced that the next Collector Car Appreciation Day (CCAD) will be officially celebrated on July 10, 2020. The date marks the eleventh consecutive commemoration in what is now an annual holiday to raise awareness of the vital role automotive restoration and collection plays in American society.
Each year at Steele Rubber Products we host a Cruise-In for the local community to celebrate Collector Car Appreciation Day. Due to COVID-19 we have chosen to make this year’s Cruise-In a Virtual Event and we’d love for you to celebrate with us! We’ll be hosting our Cruise-In on our Facebook and Instagram pages on the afternoon of July, 10th and we’ll even have a Virtual Goodie Bag for every person who enters!
We sure do miss car shows but we’re not going to let this virus stop us from enjoying a hobby we love so much and recognizing the people that make it all possible- we just have to be more creative about it. Please consider joining us for this virtual event to make this one the best CCAD yet!
How to participate:
Your Cruise-In submission should include:
- A picture of your classic car, truck or hot rod ***The better the picture, the better your car will look in the show***
- Your first name (last name optional, pseudonym accepted)
- The city and state in which you live
- The year/make/model/body style of your vehicle
- Your vehicles name (if it has one- we LOVE those)
- If you are a business, include your business name and logo and we’ll include it in the show.
Email all entries to cars@steelerubber.com by Tuesday, July 7th and put ‘CCAD Cruise-In Entry’ in the subject line.
***Be sure and tell us if your vehicle has any Steele Rubber Products on it so we can label it #SealedWithSteele***
We’ll put all submitted entries into a single video (like a slide show) and that’ll be our virtual show.
Virtual Goodie Bag:
As our way of saying thank you, each person who sends in an entry will receive a virtual goodie bag as a token of our appreciation. It contains coupon codes from many different companies in the industry (think parts, accessories, cleaning products, etc.) so you can treat your beloved ride to a little TLC for a good price!
