The Shop Show, formerly two separate shows known as “Hotrod & Restoration Trade Show” and the “Truck Accessories Trade Shows”, have combined forces and will be coming up on March 13-14th. This is a show we at Steele Rubber look forward to every year. Being in the industry that we’re in it’s important to attend shows like this, and also enjoyable to get together with other car guys.
Eric Saltrick, VP of Marketing, says this, “The Shop Show is the only trade show dedicated exclusively to the Hot Rod and Classic Car Restoration market place. This event allows Steele to meet directly with the shops, garages, retailers and builders that buy and use our parts. At the show, Steele staff members are able to meet one-on-one with their customers to provide feedback on parts, installation and marketing. In addition to our booth space, Steele also conducts several training sessions related to weatherstripping and business. Overall, The Shop Show affords our staff the chance to have lengthy discussions with our commercial account partners to better plan for the remainder of the business year.”
As Eric stated above, Steele has training sessions on weatherstripping and other parts of business. This is something we’ve done for several years now and we really love it. During these sessions it allows us the chance to explain a little bit more about what we do, plus gives the opportunity to ask questions that some may not have known to ask until then. If you’re already going make sure you sign up for our session here!
If you’re in the industry and haven’t gone you should definitely look into it. You can visit their website to register and see who else will be there. It’s a fun time and a great way to network!
