Open House Car Show and Wagon Competition

Denver, NC – September 10, 2012 – Classic cars, trucks and street rods will kick off Steele Rubber Products Annual Open House on September 29, 2012. For the fifth year the company will open its doors to the public for a car show, plant tours and competitions.  Awards will include People’s Choice, Best in Show, and for the first time, a wagon competition.

Hot Rodders are notorious for customizing their own wagons to bring to car shows.  Now, Steele will have a custom wagon division of the car show at our Open House.  Simply bring your own custom wagon on the day of the event to be eligible for judging.

“The annual Open House is an opportunity for Steele Rubber Products friends and staff to see the results of our hard work.  The cars that attend the event showcase many of the parts we manufacture at Steele on a daily basis,” said Eric Saltrick, Vice President of Marketing.

Steele Rubber Products will be conducting tours of the manufacturing facilities.  These tours include both the production and tool room design areas.  In addition, “How-to” seminars will be held to provide instructions on how to best install rubber parts and weatherstripping.

Event is open to the public.  There is a $10 registration fee for vehicles participating in the car show. All proceeds benefit the American Cancer Society.
