New Parts and New Kits

We’re 21 days into 2015 and working hard to get our new products out to our customers. If you read our post yesterday you saw where we’ve got our new catalogs ready to send out, but we’ve also got two new parts already!70-3544-85

The first part completed this year was part #70-3544-85 which is a tailgate weatherstrip for 1966-1972 Ford 4 door wagons. We’ve had a lot of positive response so far for this piece and we can’t wait for people to try it out so they can see the much improved fit and quality.

Our70-3386-79 second part completed on January 14th was part #70-3386-79. This part is a U-jamb seal, also known as a lock pillar filler, and was a very important piece for us to finish. It may be small, but you definitely need it when wanting to fully protect your car. The reason why this was so important to us is because it allowed us to complete our body kits for the 1967, 1968, 1969, 1970 Cadillac Eldorado 2 door Hardtops, and the 1967-1970 Oldsmobile Toronado 2 door Hardtops. Wahoo! You can view those here.

For the past year, we have been doing everything we can to get new and improved body kits and glass kits for the vehicles we make parts for (which is A LOT). The people that work here are all car guys/gals and we feel these kits are a great thing for others like us. They really take the part research stress away and simplify the process. Our Product Manager, Danny Agosta, puts it this way, “Kits make everything easier. The kits we’ve put together focus on whatever stage of the restoration you’re in. Whether you’re replacing the seals, just finishing with paint, or ready to install all of the glass, we have a kit to fit your needs. We do the research to see what parts fit your specific car so you can be sure you’re getting all of the right parts for your project. Also, getting all of your parts in a kit saves you money! Buying a kit gives you a discounted price on all of the parts and also gives the assurance you’re not forgetting something, which could lead to more cost late90-3274-90_small_blogr on.”

That being said, not only did we get the body kits for the Caddy and the Olds listed above, but we also finished some MOPAR body kits! We’re focusing on some of the greatest years of Dodge and Plymouth muscle cars from 1966-1972, and then we’ll be working on some of the others. If you haven’t been to our site before, or in a while, you should definitely head there and enter your vehicle info to see what we have for you. The site is really easy and you can search by +year +make +model and +style.
