This morning we began the Great Race in Traverse City, Michigan. It was a great turnout the streets were packed with people giving us a wonderful send off today. Even the Governor of Michigan waved the green flag to us started today.
It was a beautiful day, sunny about 75. We could not have asked for a better day. We traveled North to Saint Ignace, Michigan for lunch right on the Lake Huron. We had a great view of the lake for lunch. After lunch we made our way to Sault Saint Marie for our evening stop. The people are so nice here, even if we are from the Buckeye State.
