Made of 100% high-quality marine grade EPDM rubber. Durable and easy to install – no pre-heating of the insert is required. These rub rail inserts will not fade, shrink or crack- we guarantee it!
Our rub rail insert kits are designed for a full rub rail insert replacement and will include at least 50ft of the new insert, a scraper/tuck tool, and an instruction sheet.
Rub Rail Insert Repair Kits
If you find yourself in a situation where you don’t need to replace your entire Steele Rubber Products rub rail insert, our repair kits are the perfect solution for you. Unlike vinyl, thermoplastic, and metal, our rubber inserts allow you to make small repairs without the need to replace the entire insert. This will save you both time and money!
These replacement kits in 20ft of the insert, a scraper/tuck tool, detailed instruction sheet, and Loctite 495 Super Bonder.
Maintenance tip: If you have a Steele Rubber Products rub rail insert, the only products we recommend using for maintenance cleaning is just soap and water! No additional cleaners, treatments, or coatings are needed because they can actually break down the compounds in the rubber and cause deterioration.
